Having spent a lot of time in Wildstar’s beta myself I’m not ashamed to admit I still have plenty to learn about the game, and this guide is definitely the best way to do so.

Killerguide includes a top-notch, most detailed 1-50 leveling guide you can ask for. It’s very thorough giving you optimized questing paths and secretive leveling techniques which only a few privileged players were aware of — until now. With this leveling guide even a casual player can reach the level cap in a week, and even amass quite the wealth in the process. Leveling guide includes special methods of fast leveling for both Dominion and Exile faction players, so be sure to take advantage of this thorough walkthrough.

As usual Killerguides continues to be at the top of the gaming guides food chain because they offer so much more than your usual guide. Also included are other strategy guides for Wildstar which will ensure you have a formidable character you are happy with, and to set you on that path are detailed chapters about crafting, PvP, equipment, class builds, spell rotations, dungeon walkthroughs, Elder content walkthroughs and more. I had the chance to get an early preview of 2 other guides but they haven’t been released to the public yet. Once (and if) they are I’ll be sure to add them to the list, though in all honesty it’s highly unlikely any of them has even a chance to compete with the amount of useful information provided in Killerguides guide.

Don’t be fooled by the relatively small number of classes available though as ESO gives you the ability to customize your class greatly. Guilds from previous Elder Scrolls titles will also be present, including Fighters, Mages, Thieves and the mysterious and deadly Dark Brotherhood.

Due to ESO’s extreme popularity there will be a lot of questions about the game from players who didn’t get the chance to participate in beta testing, and the competition will be as fierce as ever. Killerguides Leveling Guide Contents

The two most important parts of this NWN leveling guide is the quest walkthrough and leveling methods. Quest walkthroughs are very helpful when you’re trying to speed-run through levels and will help you always understand where to pick up quests and how to find objectives as quickly as possible. It includes all leveling zones and quest hubs along with maps with locations of quest-giver NPCs and mission objectives. It also contains a very useful list of quests that take more time to complete and offer low rewards so you can easily maximize your time by skipping those quests and focusing on those that reward the most experience and best equipment.

The chapter about leveling methods includes tons of important tips and tricks you need to learn in order to level up as effectively as possible. I was actually quite amazed at the amount of strategies players have discovered so far and incorporating just some of them into my gameplay definitely quickened my leveling. It’s explained in much detail so I won’t go over it here but suffice to say it’s worth reading. Another helpful chapter talks about talent trees and ability rotations specifically optimized for leveling any class to the level cap as fast as possible. It definitely helps if you don’t want to do the analysis yourself and squeezing in extra damage or survivability can certainly improve the speed at which you progress through Neverwinter.

Killerguides also contains a great guide on leveling equipment which helps you pick up the best gear for every level and even tells you where to find it. It helps immensely to have the best items for your current level and this chapter is currently the best reference you can find about it. Lastly the guide includes a gold making chapter and an auction house guide. Killerguides has another guide which is specifically focused on generating gold in Neverwinter and it’s far more detailed (you can check it out here), but this chapter does cover some of the most important basic tips, tricks and strategies you definitely don’t want to miss out on. It will without a doubt help boots your coin income in NWN and I strongly suggest you not to skip reading it.

Is Killerguides worth it?

Navigating through a Wiki gives you hard numbers and facts and isn’t very useful to average players, while this guide is focused on explaining every single detail about many aspects of Neverwinter that you can really benefit from immediately. Considering the incredible amount of information and strategies you can find in Killerguides and its constant updates I believe it’s the best investment you’ll ever make. The guide may not be free but considering how incredibly comprehensive and useful it is it’s definitely downloading. You can check out the official Killerguides page to learn more about it. If you decide to get I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

In many ways, Rift is similar to World of Warcraft, as well as other games. For example, many of the mechanics are similar to WoW, but with the addition of something which is similar to Warhammer Online’s public quests system, and more. Basically, another MMORPG game, but this one will not be released unfinished and with hundreds of annoying bugs. The developers are making sure of it, and while it’s still early to tell, Rift might very well be a worthy competition to WoW.

Leveling in Rift works pretty much as in other MMORPG games. It’s nothing innovative and groundbreaking: the same old process of doing quests, killing X amount of monsters and grinding. You can however speed up the process a great deal by following a quality leveling guide, which is exactly what this page is about. I’ll be reviewing ALL Rift leveling and strategy guides and help you figure out which one is the best.

1. Killerguides Rift Strategy Guide

A very, very frequent mention on this site, Killerguides was once again the first to publish a guide for Rift. It received several updates since then and overall is extremely detailed and helpful and definitely my top recommendation.

It includes battle strategies, equipment breakdown, solo and group tactics, raiding techniques and guide, as well as a leveling guide. However, most of the stuff in Killerguides Rift Strategy Guide is just beginner information, unless you get all 5 Rift guides by Killerguides. The guides specific to callings, namely Rogue, Cleric, Mage and Warrior have more advanced and useful information, however they do come at a higher price than most other guides (although you do get a large discount if you purchase them all).

Overall Killerguides deserves a 5/5 rating, however it would be much nicer to have all the info packed in one single guide rather than have five different ones. Nevertheless it’s chock full of great contents that will help both new and veteran players get a better grasp of the game and I highly suggest you check it out.

2. Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide

Rating: ★★★★☆ 

Xerxes guide is my second favorite guide for a number of reasons. First of all the leveling guide is the most detailed one and includes an impressive amount of screenshots and maps to guide you through quests. Some other guides (although not all) have maps and screenshots but it’s not nearly as much as in Xerxes.

Xerxes Mastery Guide also has really insider stuff about callings and souls. Some guides just post the beginner stuff inside with a few additions, but Xerxes clearly has a lot of experience playing all classes and his recommendations on equipment, stats, soul builds, soul pairings etc. are invaluable. This really is the professional, expert advice you will want to read.

This guide also includes a ton of additional bonuses, all of which are really useful: dungeons, professions, PvP, puzzles, platinum making, the list goes on. Overall Xerxes guide no doubt stands out from the competition and you won’t regret if you get it.

3. KFGuides Rift Leveling Guide

Rating: ★★★☆☆ 

KFGuides is in fact a very decent leveling guide. It includes maps and screenshots and the quest info is nicely outlined and easy to follow. The only issue is that it’s only for the Defiant faction.

Another bad thing is that KFGuides Rift Leveling Guide doesn’t have any additional bonuses to make it a worthwhile purchase. The few guides they do have can be viewed for free anyway, and aren’t really that useful (mostly dungeons and puzzles).

4. Rift Blueprint

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ 

Rift Blueprint has enough content to make it a decent guide but not enough for me to recommend it over any of the guides above. Simply put the content and guides aren’t as detailed and useful. It does have a ton of beginner guides but it simply doesn’t cut it: these tips won’t help you stand out from other players too much.

The leveling guide inside is not even a leveling guide but rather a few notes about quests and doing rifts. The most useful part is the comprehensive dungeons guide giving you boss strategies and locations, but the same can be found in Xerxes guide, therefore there’s no reason why you would want to download Rift Blueprint.

5. Rift Domination Guide

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ 

Similar to Blueprint and Fero’s guide, Rift Domination doesn’t really have anything useful which would make me recommend it to anyone. Beginner guides won’t do much good to anyone, and the lack of any other useful content makes me not want to even write a more detailed review.

I do have to give at least some credit to Rift Domination guide though, as there are far worse guides (see below), but unfortunately I can’t recommend it. It won’t help you dominate.

6. Fero’s Rift Strategy Guide

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ 

Fero’s guide is almost identical in quality as Rift Bluprint. It doesn’t have any secrets or all that many useful tips and strategies. Again, beginner guides, the same dungeons guide as you can find elsewhere, and a few tips and notes that won’t really do you much good.

I recommend you skip Fero’s guide.

7. MMO Guide Mart’s Rift Leveling Guide

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ 

MMO Guide Mart is a new website which will apparently publish guides for MMORPGs. However, their very first guide is the one for Rift, and it’s extremely lacking.

MMOGuideMart’s Rift Leveling Guide is an incomplete leveling guide, with only a few beginner guides as bonuses. The only good thing about it is that it’s cheap and has a nicely designed cover, but that’s really no reason to download it.

8. Kalmar’s Rift Guardian Leveling Guide

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ 

Kalmar’s guide does have step-by-step quest guides which I can’t say for all other guides, but the guide is currently incomplete despite being advertised that it is. The only thing Kalmar provides is a 1-19 leveling guide for the Guardian faction, and even that isn’t that well done.

Personally I much prefer to have Xerxes guide which has a ton of really useful bonuses, and a more detailed and complete leveling guide — for both factions.

9. Catari’s Rift Defiant Leveling Guide

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ 

Other than KFGuides this is the only Defiant faction specific leveling guide, and it ain’t a good one either. Incomplete, with absolutely no bonuses whatsoever.

If you didn’t notice yet, Catari’s guide comes from the same author as Kalmar’s guide, and as such suffers from the same issues. Skip it.

Summary

Xerxes guide is hands down the winner here. Massive amounts of useful content, and the most detailed leveling guide. Best buy, highest rating, top recommendation, etc. Download Xerxes, you will love it.

DCU Online has just gotten out of beta, and many players are eager to start playing it. The game is not nearly as hyped as most other MMORPG titles usually are, therefore the aren’t that many fansites, forums and blog talking about the game. The amount of useful information a new player can get about the game without actually playing it for countless hours is ridiculously low, unless you happened to come across a quality strategy and leveling guide.

The guide reviews below will hopefully give you an idea why it’s good  to have one such good guide, and where you can get it.

1. Razer DC Universe Mastery Guide

Razer DC Universe Online Mastery Guide is not the first nor the last guide I’ve read for this game, but it certainly is the best one. It has many, many different chapters explaining pretty much anything you’d want to know about this game.

We’ll kick it off with a review of the leveling guide, which I’m sure most of you are interested in. Basically, it’s awesome. It has a great deal of missions and quests listed with detailed descriptions and guides on how and where to complete them. In addition it provides maps so you’ll never get lost. That’s unfortunately not something I’ve found in other guides.

As for other content, it has guides about powers, abilities, mentors, items, PvP and a lot more. It’s all very well done, nicely written and outlined and anyone will be able to follow and understand the tips and strategies explained.

Razer DC Universe Guide is at the moment my definite recommendation and I advise you to give it a try and see why it’s so good.

2. Killerguides DC Universe Online Strategy Guide

Rating: ★★★★★★★★★☆ 

A well known and popular publisher of MMORPG guides, Killerguides was the first publisher who released a DC Universe strategy and leveling guide. Even though their guide is really good in my opinion, Razer guide above is much more detailed and still my favorite read whenever I need to look up some information about DC Universe Online.

Killerguides DCUO strategy guide includes several different chapters: powers and abilities guide, group and solo strategies, skill point recommendations and more. The biggest and most important part is of course the leveling guide, which is nicely outlined and will help you get to the level cap faster.

In addition, Killerguides does have a guide to questing and PvP as well, but whether you want to get those or not is up to you. Basically, you can check Killerguides guide out if you’re for some reason looking for an alternative to Razer guide, but other than that you can skip it.

3. DC Universe Online Secrets Guide

Rating: ★★★★★★★½☆☆ 

The last one on my list of DC Universe leveling guides is Tony Sanders’ DCUO Secrets Guide. This guide has a few things going for it and it’s a decent guide, but it’s quickly falling behind with the updates and constant new content being put into other guides.

It does contain many info that you can find in other guides, but it’s just not as detailed and comprehensive as Razer or Killerguides above.

Overall, I would recommend you check out one of the two guides above rather than downloading DC Universe Secrets Guide, which you might regret later on.

You’ll rarely find an MMORPG that players don’t need leveling guides, and Tera Online is no different. There’s about 6 different Tera leveling guides available for now but I only included the top few in the list below. I tried to make the reviews as unbiased as possible so hopefully they’ll make your choice on which guide to get easier.

1. Veliks Tera Mastery Guide

Rating: ★★★★★ 

Veliks Tera Guide is currently my favorite guide. It includes a complete leveling guide 1-60, with all quests covered and is the best leveling walkthrough you’ll find. The leveling guide will tell you exactly where to go to maximize your experience gain, and make sure you never run out of quests and have to resort to grinding for XP. The leveling guide is amazing also because it includes tons of maps which include locations of quests and questing hubs, NPCs, monsters, elites, rare mobs, underground areas, dungeons and PvP locations, and waypoints telling you exactly how to get there fastest.

There’s quite a few other chapters in Veliks guide as well. First is the classes guide, which will explain to you all the little-known secrets of each playable class, as well as explain their mechanics, abilities, chain skills, combat styles, builds, best equipment, attributes and more. Overall it the most complete and comprehensive Tera class resource you can find right now.

A PvP guide is included as well, explaining the intricacies of this aspect of the game that you really should know about before you try and fight other players. This guide shows you how to beat every single class, it explains their strengths and weaknesses and tells you how to gain an advantage in fights. This guide will also tell you how to consistently top the kill charts and dominate in battlegrounds as well.

Veliks guide also tells you all about the PvE aspect of Tera. All instances have detailed walkthroughs that will show you tactics for every boss, ensuring you clear them as quickly as possible. Most importantly though, this is the only resource I’ve found so far that includes endgame raids as well. You’ll know exactly where to get the best gear for your character, easily find groups for these raids without having to be in a guild, and of course it’ll also show you the strategies for every single boss so you’ll know the tactics beforehand. As for items, a pretty useful guide in Veliks will show you which stats and attributes you should aim for.

Overall Veliks TERA guide is the best resource you can currently get for this game. It’s constantly updated with new stuff as well which are free to download, so you can be safe knowing all the strategies inside are up to date. If you’re looking for an amazing guide to help you with anything in TERA Online, look no further than Velik’s guide.

Killerguides published ten different TERA guides: 8 of them for classes, one for gold making and one leveling guide. I’ve found their guides also quite useful, even though the strategy guide isn’t as detailed on classes and gold making as their specialized guides are. And that’s the biggest downside to Killerguides as well.

Killerguides TERA Leveling Guide includes the following: a powerleveling guide including the shortest leveling path supposed to take you to level 60 within a week, quest walkthroughs that recommendations on those who yield the most experience and best items, working gold-making strategies, an overview of weapons, armor and consumables by level, PvP strategies and tactics, glyph recommendations and best setups, and detailed crafting and enchanting guide to help you get the most out of professions.

For more detailed information on classes you’ll have to get one of their class guides, which I do recommend as they go into a lot of detail and will help you understand your class’ mechanics, tactics and other little-known things.

Guild Wars 2 (GW2) is set to be the next big MMORPG game, and judging by how popular the original title is GW2 will surely be just as good. If any game can get a sizable market share along with WoW it’s undoubtedly GW2, so this is certainly one title you don’t want to miss playing!
