Battlefield 3 is a highly-anticipated title that has proven itself time and time again to be one of the best first person shooter games on the market today. Battlefield title has an enormous player base and millions of sales, and every time a new sequel comes out is always breaks a few sales records.

Battlefield 3 is the newest installation of this game and features many improvements from previous titles. While it’s often been said it’s a bit lacking in singleplayer campaign, the multiplayer experience is superb and will keep you busy for awhile no doubt.

However, it can also be frustrating. Even players who have experience in previous BF titles found themselves dying a lot and not being able to contribute much to their team, as BF3 is still quite different from other Battlefield games. Since tons of players have been looking for some guides and help online, I’ve decided to review the following Battlefield 3 strategy guides which will help you learn the ins and outs of this game a lot faster:

1. Relik’s Battlefield 3 Strategy Guide

Rating: ★★★★★

Relik’s guide is definitely my favorite Battlefield 3 resource. It’s unlike anything else you will find online and really is quite helpful to have. It breaks down every part of the game and gives you a detailed overview and analysis.

First, it has a really detailed walkthrough of the single-player and co-op campaigns. In Relik’s Mastery guide you’ll get detailed instructions and step-by-step guide on beating every level and you’ll always know how to complete a mission as fast and easy as possible. Furthermore, it has video commentaries that will guide you through each of these missions as well.

But the single-player game guide is just a small part of what Relik has to offer. The guide is focused on multiplayer gameplay and as such has tons of quality tips which will help you beat your opponents consistently in Battlefield 3. First off there’s the generic BF3 multiplayer strategy guide which will give you plenty of advice on how to take advantage of every situation. This usually comes only with extensive playing experience and most skilled players will be reluctant to share this kind of information with new ones.

Next, you have a detailed guide with every single map available in BF3. It will show you the best sniping and camping spots, little-known map secrets where you can kill people again and again, team and solo tactics that win over 80% of games and more. It’s incredibly helpful and an absolute must read.

There’s also a bunch of other guides for classes, weapons, routes, vehicles, progression/leveling and more. Overall, the amount of information you will find in Relik’s Battlefield 3 Strategy Guide is absolutely amazing and it’s my strong recommendation you give it a shot if you wish to improve your gameplay.

2. Stark’s Battlefield 3 Mastery Guide

Rating: ★★★★☆

Stark’s BF3 guide is a bit less detailed than Relik’s, but still very useful. It contains a beginners guide covering all the basics of the game: if you’re completely new to Battlefield I’m sure you’ll find it helpful. It gives you an overview of game concepts, classes, interface and such.

Much like Reliks guide Stark’s also has a guide for the singleplayer campaign. It’s just as useful as the one in Relik’s guide though, but there are no videos unfortunately.

Furthermore Stark guide includes information on all four classes in the game, giving you an overview of their differences, their gameplay strategies, kits and unlocks and more. Again, not as detailed as what you’ll find in the guide reviewed above but it’s still quite useful.

There’s also a weapons guide included that gives you a list of all available weapons in BF3, including a list of their pros and cons. It’s useful if you’re trying to figure out how to use a weapon most effectively and especially if you don’t know how to properly customize weapons.

The multiplayer strategy guide will show you how to best play in each different mode, how to play as a team and overall improve your skill level. Additionally there’s a guide on multiplayer maps that will show you the locations of turrets, vehicles, tactical spots and more.

Overall Stark’s guide is pretty good but it’s simply not as detailed as Relik’s guide. However if you’re looking for a good alternative for some reason, you have it.

3. Prima Games Official Battlefield 3 Guide

Rating: ★★½☆☆

As is the case with most official game guides this one isn’t too useful either. Basically it’s an overview of the game, and while it is now and then helpful it won’t really teach you nearly as much as the two other guides will.

It does contain some map descriptions with basic strategies, teamwork tactics, weapons and classes breakdown and a couple of other things, but it’s not nearly as detailed as Relik’s and Stark’s BF3 guides.

It does however come as a paperback or hardcover guide so you might prefer to read it that way. It’s up to you whether you want to get it, but I’d advise you get Relik’s guide if you truly with to improve your gameplay.

DC Universe Leveling Guide

DC Universe Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the DC Universe. Sony Online Entertainment’s stated goal is to make a different kind of MMORPG. SOE is working to make DC Universe Online more interactive than standard MMORPGs, while trying to keep their key elements, which include a leveling system, raid instances, endgame progression and inventories. The world is mainly shared, public space instead of heroes or villains owning territory. The public space features dynamically-generated content designed for both hero and villain player characters (uniquely created by the player, who cannot choose DCU stalwarts).

DCU Online has just gotten out of beta, and many players are eager to start playing it. The game is not nearly as hyped as most other MMORPG titles usually are, therefore the aren’t that many fansites, forums and blog talking about the game. The amount of useful information a new player can get about the game without actually playing it for countless hours is ridiculously low, unless you happened to come across a quality strategy and leveling guide.

The guide reviews below will hopefully give you an idea why it’s good to have one such good guide, and where you can get it.

1. Razer DC Universe Mastery Guide

Rating: ★★★★★★★★★★

Razer DC Universe Online Mastery Guide is not the first nor the last guide I’ve read for this game, but it certainly is the best one. It has many, many different chapters explaining pretty much anything you’d want to know about this game.

We’ll kick it off with a review of the leveling guide, which I’m sure most of you are interested in. Basically, it’s awesome. It has a great deal of missions and quests listed with detailed descriptions and guides on how and where to complete them. In addition it provides maps so you’ll never get lost. That’s unfortunately not something I’ve found in other guides.

As for other content, it has guides about powers, abilities, mentors, items, PvP and a lot more. It’s all very well done, nicely written and outlined and anyone will be able to follow and understand the tips and strategies explained.

Razer DC Universe Guide is at the moment my definite recommendation and I advise you to give it a try and see why it’s so good.

2. Killerguides DC Universe Online Strategy Guide

A well known and popular publisher of MMORPG guides, Killerguides was the first publisher who released a DC Universe strategy and leveling guide. Even though their guide is really good in my opinion, Razer guide above is much more detailed and still my favorite read whenever I need to look up some information about DC Universe Online.

Killerguides DCUO strategy guide includes several different chapters: powers and abilities guide, group and solo strategies, skill point recommendations and more. The biggest and most important part is of course the leveling guide, which is nicely outlined and will help you get to the level cap faster.

In addition, Killerguides does have a guide to questing and PvP as well, but whether you want to get those or not is up to you. Basically, you can check Killerguides guide out if you’re for some reason looking for an alternative to Razer guide, but other than that you can skip it.

3. DC Universe Online Secrets Guide

Rating: ★★★★★★★½☆☆

The last one on my list of DC Universe leveling guides is Tony Sanders’ DCUO Secrets Guide. This guide has a few things going for it and it’s a decent guide, but it’s quickly falling behind with the updates and constant new content being put into other guides.

It does contain many info that you can find in other guides, but it’s just not as detailed and comprehensive as Razer or Killerguides above.

Overall, I would recommend you check out one of the two guides above rather than downloading DC Universe Secrets Guide, which you might regret later on.

SC2 Strategy Guide

Starcraft 2 is no doubt the most anticipated strategy game released since Warcraft III. Blizzard has done it again with this incredibly popular title and made a quality game many players were looking forward to. After years of development and a very long time in beta testing, the game is finally out and hundreds of thousands of players are looking for ways to learn the game without actually having to spend 10 or more hours each day playing it and figuring out new strategies by themselves.

Even the pro players who have years of experience with Starcraft have difficulties adapting to this new game but fortunate for us a number of pro players took the time and effort to write quality Starcraft 2 strategy guides so we don’t all have to start from scratch. Even though i mostly play MMORPG games I have to admit I’m a big fan of Starcraft and Warcraft and was looking forward to SC2 for a long time. I’m not really good RTS games but find them extremely fun, especially when I’m consistently winning games, and these guides helped me do just that. Find out below which strategy guide I like most!

1. Shokz Starcraft 2 Mastery Guide

Rating: ★★★★★

Shokz SC2 Mastery Guides comes from the author of the best-selling and top rated Aion and Warhammer mastery guides. I was amazed by the amount of content found in those guides and its quality, and again the author came through and made an excellent Starcraft 2 strategy guide covering pretty much everything.

You’ll find information specific for each race: Terran, Protoss and Zerg. Each guide contains best build orders and strategies to fight each race, in both 1v1 and in team matches. In addition there’s a number of other more generic guides such as the one for key binds or using the map editor, among a lot of others. One other thing that makes Shokz guide stand from the rest is videos: you can easily see the strategies explained and it’s a lot easier to understand it then. Additionally it contains replays so there’s no chance you won’t be able to follow the strategies outlined in the guide. Also, Shokz guide is the only one covering the SC II campaign.

Overall I think Shokz SC2 Mastery Guide is the most detailed, complete and up-to-date SC2 strategy guide and it’s my absolute recommendation you get it!

2. Joana’s Starcraft 2 Guide

Rating: ★★★★☆

Joana, the author of one of the best WoW leveling guide recently published her second guide. This time it’s not a leveling guide but rather a strategy guide for StarCraft II which contains plenty of quality information. Unfortunately in my opinion it’s not quite ready to beat the currently best guide Shokz.

Joana’s Starcraft 2 guide contains race-specific information, such as best build orders, unit counters, and combat tactics. All game types and matchup combinations are covered, as well as a small number of general SC2 guides and information.

Overall, Joana’s guide comes very close to the quality of Shokz guide and in the near future with enough updates it might become better but until then Shokz guide is still the king.

3. Starcraft 2 Mastery Guide

Rating: ★★★½☆

Starcraft 2 Mastery guide is the most recent addition to my list of Starcraft II guides yet it already deserved the third spot. It has very decent number of more and less detailed general guides, as well as race specific strategies much like other guides I reviewed here.

Build orders are of course included, in addition to videos giving you a better insight into the strategies explained. SC2 Mastery Guide also has a number of really cool guides which can’t be found in other SC2 strategy guides but unfortunately it’s not enough to push this guide to a better rating.

Bottom line is Starcraft 2 Mastery Guide has potential, yet not enough content to be a serious competition for either of the above guides.

4. StrategyMasters Starcraft 2 Training Program

Rating: ★★★½☆

StrategyMasters publishes also a decent Starcraft 2 strategy guide but in my opinion it’s not as well as the other guides above. It also contains strategies for each of the three races, including build orders, tech trees, units and buildings, key bindings and several more.

There’s also a number of general strategy guides: microing/macroing, scouting, defending and attacking, harvesting & mining etc. Starcraft2 Strategy Training does include some videos and replays in addition to user forums, but in my opinion the contents of other guides are better. You can still check the website and see if something specific in this strategy guide interests you, but my recommendation is to get my number one rated Shokz guide.

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by its contents, but other guides currently contain a lot more info than this one. Perhaps in time StrategyMasters SC2 strategy training will get better and with the member forums it might be a great resource. If that happens I’ll be sure to update my thoughts about it here. Until then definitely go for Shokz guide!

5. Star2Pros Strategy Guide

Starcraft2Pros guide is my least favorite guide for a number of reasons. The claims made on its website are not entirely true, and the guide is not nearly good enough as others.

The overall quality of the guide is less than satisfactory, and while some of the strategies found inside will help you, in other guides they are explained in more details and have accompanying videos and replays. Star2Pros unfortunately is not as complete as they would like you to believe and currently I don’t see a reason why you should download it.

Even if the author (who I’m told is the same one who published the scam-like Fantoms guide for Aion) gave this guide for free it wouldn’t be worth as a replacement for any of the above guides.

Aion Leveling Guide

Aion is a still a rather new game but already has its own market share, and appears to be a formidable competition to some other MMOs. Even though there are many similarities between Aion and some other games, there’s one important difference and that is leveling. While leveling guides for other games serve mostly as guidance, in Aion it’s almost a necessity. More than often you’ll find yourself without any quests to do and it will appear like there’s nothing else to do but grind: but is that really the case?

I checked out these Aion leveling guides for you so read on to see out what I found out about them!

1. Kozens Aion Leveling Guide

Kozen’s leveling guide is currently my top rated guide for a number of reasons. First, the guide is very detailed and includes maps and screenshots to help you find your way. It has both factions included unlike some other guides, and both are very well done. In addition to the leveling guide, Kozen also wrote a crafting, Abyss, kinah and a couple of other guides which is a huge bonus. Most other guides (except for Killerguides) are only leveling guides.

With Kozen Aion leveling guide you also receive free updates and access to member forums where you can discuss various leveling tricks and tactics and even see some video guides. I think Kozen’s leveling guide is currently the best and no doubt will stay the best for a long time.

2. AionMastery Aion Leveling Guide

Rating: ★★★★★

AionMastery is the latest guide amongst Aion leveling guides but it’s already a very serious competitor. It includes both Asmodian and Elyos leveling guides completed to level 40, which is probably already updated to 50 by the time you’re reading this. The guide is detailed and thorough however it doesn’t have as many additional tips and tricks for certain quest like Kozen’s guide has.

Aion Mastery also doesn’t have any screenshots to help you find stuff and included maps don’t have any notes — too bad, otherwise this would be a seriously outstanding guide. AionMastery has a kinah making guide (which is very good I might add) but it sells separately. Free updates are included but I’m afraid it’s simply not enough to beat the amazing contents, bonuses and support offered in Kozen’s guide.

3. Killerguides Aion Leveling Guide

Rating: ★★★★☆

Even though the leveling guide is only a part of this Aion (strategy) guide, I think that’s actually a positive thing. There’s a lot of extra stuff in this guide, including guides and info about classes, professions, PvP, equipment, kinah making and several other. Anyway, about the leveling guide: it’s miles better than what you may find in various forum topics or whatever. The quests are nicely outlined and if you follow the guide you’ll have no trouble reaching the level cap in less than two weeks (unless you play for 16 hours a day, then I guess you’ll be done in a few days!).

Killerguides Aion leveling guide is a good guide, however Kozen’s is more complete and detailed.

4. FTWGuides Aion Leveling Guide

Rating: ★★★☆☆

FTWGuides used to go by the name Ashling. I’ve had the chance of reviewing their Warhammer & Champions Online leveling guides and they were pretty good, and their Aion leveling guide is not bad also. It has maps and screenshots which you probably already guessed I really like to find in leveling guides, and it covers plenty — if not all quests.

Probably the most important thing about FTWGuides is that Elyos and Asmodian leveling guides sell separately, while in the two guides reviewed above it’s both included in one single guide. Despite FTWGuides Aion Leveling Guide being an overall good guide, I feel other guides simply offer more so I can’t help but give them better ratings.

5. KFGuides Aion Leveling Guide

Rating: ★★☆☆☆

KFGuides cover both the Asmodian and Elyos factions, but the negative side is you have to pay separately for both, just as FTWGuides. The guides are however well done and have screenshots and good quest information, but I don’t think that’s enough to beat the three guides above.

Another negative side is the fact you have to pay additionally for updates to this guide which is not the case with other leveling guides I reviewed so far. And with KFGuides you can be sure you will pay extra, because they are only finished to level 40 for now (by the time you’re reading this it’s possible it’s already 50).

I really recommend getting one of the guides reviewed above with better ratings. KFGuides just doesn’t cut it.

6. Fantoms World Aion Leveling Guide

Fantoms leveling guide unfortunately covers only the Asmodian faction. Wesley (the guide author) currently has no plans to write an Elyos leveling guide, which is really unfortunate. Anyway, about the guide: it has maps & screenshots which I really like, however it’s far from being complete to level 50, despite what the website says.

Free updates are included with Fantoms leveling guide, however I’m not certain when will that be: the guide has been out for some time now but without any updates so far. While it looks like a good leveling guide at first glance, Fantoms guide is not complete and even if it was I’d still give it a lower rating than top two guides.

Conclusion: I recommend downloading Kozen’s leveling guide, it’s overall the best guide available and won’t disappoint you!

Warhammer Leveling Guide

Here’s all Warhammer leveling guides I could find. Not all of them are of high-quality, but the first few are real gems and you’d be a fool to pass the opportunity to read them. For a full list of features in each one read on!

1. Goblins Warhammer Mastery Guide

Rating: ★★★★★

Number one on the list of Warhammer Online leveling guides and definitely my favorite is Goblin’s guide. It has everything you’ll need from a leveling guide: it’s easy to follow, has detailed maps, screenshots, quest coordinates and it’ll get you to rank 40 before you know it. I really can’t explain how awesome it truly is, plus it also has a gold guide, RvR guide, career guides, tradeskill/crafting skills guide and more, which is way more than in other guides. Get it today!

2. Ashlings Warhammer Leveling Guide

Rating: ★★★★☆

Ashlings guide is similar to Goblins guide, but it does not include as many bonuses. However, it does have a crafting guide and an RvR/Renown guide. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves: the leveling guide found in Ashlings guide is indeed excellent just like in Goblins. Quests are also accompanied with maps, coordinates and sometimes even screenshots to help you where needed. If all you’re after is a leveling guide, Ashlings won’t disappoint, but due to many bonuses in Goblins guide I can’t help but put this one second.

3. Killerguides Warhammer Strategy Guide

Rating: ★★★★☆

Killerguides is a well-known publisher of strategy guides for most MMO games, including Warhammer Online. As such, their guide is much better than some others, but I can’t help but notice the lack of work done on the leveling part of the guide. I guess they were eager to release it, but nevertheless it’s still more than helpful. No maps though :(. Killerguides War guide, like the two guides described above also has additional bonuses: RvR guide, gold making guide, equipment guide and a crafting guide. Not sure if you noticed, but gold guides for Warhammer usually sell separately (like this one), so this is certainly a nice surprise. Anyway, this certainly isn’t the best leveling guide you can find, but will do just fine.

4. Warhammer Elite

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Warhammer Elite is a leveling guide without any bonuses, and it focuses solely on leveling. Unfortunately, the price does not reflect that, so you’ll have to dish out nearly the same price as for other guides reviewed above. The quests are decently described though and maps with coordinates are included.

5. Fantoms Warhammer Leveling Guide

Fantom’s Warhammer leveling guide is the one which advertises the most, yet is far from the best. It does have a few high points, but none that would make you get it rather than some other guide.

I’d be lying if I said it’s a bad guide, but there are better ones. If not for the (more or less) decent leveling path I probably wouldn’t even include it here, so my recommendation is to look for a better one (hint: try one with more bonuses!).

7. Stephens Warhammer Leveling Guide

Just like Penn’s leveling guide, Stephen’s doesn’t come with any additional bonuses and I really advise you to get some other guide.

Conclusion: Get Goblins guide, you will not be disappointed! If for some odd reason you don’t like it, you will like Ashlings guide. If you’re more into gold guides, Goblins and Killerguides guide are the only ones which will help.
